Kathy King, M.A., M.Div. – Pastoral Counselor


Kathy KingKathy King is originally from Oxford, Mississippi, home of the Ole Miss Rebels, and authors such as William Faulkner and John Grisham. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Spanish, Psychology, and Social Work. From 2002-2004, Kathy lived in Madrid, Spain, as a Journeyman Missionary. When returning to the States, she served as a teacher and tutor of Spanish and English as a Second Language to both children and adults. She has also worked with International World Changers as Ministry Coordinator for the past eight years. In 2012, Kathy graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministries and Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. She has a heart for other cultures and bringing God’s truth to those who are hurting. Her counseling areas include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, cultural adjustment, identity, and contentment-related issues. She enjoys photography, running, and traveling.
